The 12th National Agriculture Show Opens
The National Agriculture Exhibition commonly known as Agri-show, on its 12th time was launched at Mulindi expo grounds in Gasabo District where it is expected to run until the 27th June 2017.
“This Agri-show under the theme - Adopt climate resilient technologies to improve farmer livelihoods - will focus on various technologies as part of efforts to popularize mechanisms to fight effects of climate change among farmers:” Minister for Agriculture and Animal Resources, Dr. Gerardine Mukeshimana has said while officiating this function that brought up to 150 exhibitors from the whole country.
NAEB which has always participated in this Agrishow has attracted 15 companies that aim at developing agriculture value chains for export. Among them, tea, coffee, floriculture, horticulture and silkworm business dealers have all come to offer opportunities for networking, sharing of knowledge and experiences to their booth’s visitors.
This weeklong Agriculture show prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources will be opening from 9.00AM to 6.00PM.
