Rwanda Tea reigns supreme
Rwanda Tea has once again reaffirmed its position as a champion of tea quality, emerging victorious at the 6th African Tea Convention and Exhibition held in Kigali from 9-11 October 2024. Rwandan tea factories secured top honors in every category for the main tea grades, a testament to the nation's commitment to producing world-class tea. Kitabi Tea Factory triumphed in the BP1 category, Gatare Tea Factory won for PF1, Gisovu Tea Factory excelled in the PD grade, and Rutsiro Tea Factory dominated in the D1 category.
The prestigious competition brought together leading tea producers from across Africa, yet Rwanda's dominance remained unrivaled. This year's accolades mark the continuation of a remarkable legacy of excellence for Rwanda Tea in African tea competitions.
