Rwanda’s Tea Strategy moves one step closer

On 25th September 2026, stakeholders gathered in Kigali to validate the 10-Year Rwanda Tea Strategy (2027–2037), a strategic framework aimed at strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability and long-term growth of Rwanda’s tea sector.

Opening the workshop, NAEB CEO emphasized the importance of aligning the strategy with Rwanda’s long-term development ambitions.

“As we look ahead, our ambition must be fully aligned with #Vision2050 and the priorities of #NST2: increasing agricultural productivity, promoting private investment and value addition, expanding exports, creating decent jobs, and building a more climate-resilient and inclusive economy.” He noted.
