Rwanda Coffee shines at World of Coffee Dubai 2025
Rwanda’s premium coffee made a strong impression at the World of Coffee Dubai 2025, which took place from 10th to 12 February positioning itself as a key player in the Middle Eastern specialty coffee market. The annual trade show, renowned for bringing together coffee professionals, producers, and enthusiasts from across the globe, provided a platform for Rwandan exporters to showcase the country's finest coffee beans and strengthen business networks.
Six Rwandan coffee exporters participated in the event, taking the opportunity to present their high-quality Arabica coffee, known for its rich aroma and unique flavor profiles. The highlight of Rwanda’s presence was a coffee cupping session at the Rwanda stand, attracting numerous buyers, roasters, and industry experts eager to experience the excellence of Rwandan coffee.
Expressing his enthusiasm, one of the participating exporters, G-step Coffee Company representative, stated, “Being part of the World of Coffee Dubai 2025 has opened doors for us in the Middle Eastern market and beyond, offering new opportunities worldwide”.. We engaged with potential buyers who appreciated Rwanda’s coffee quality, and we are confident that this will lead to lasting business partnerships.”
The event also served as a learning experience for Rwandan exporters, exposing them to emerging trends in the coffee industry and providing insights into consumer preferences in the region.
Another exporter, Baho Coffee Company, shared, “This trade show has been a game-changer for us. We gained valuable feedback from international buyers, which will help us improve our offerings and expand our market reach.”
