NAEB is supporting Rwandan coffee exporters to participate in the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan (SCAJ) Conference and Exhibition 2025, one of the world’s largest and most influential specialty coffee events. The event brings together coffee buyers, roasters, and producers from across the globe.
This year’s edition of SCAJ is particularly special as it marks the 20th anniversary of the event — a major milestone in celebrating two decades of advancing specialty coffee in
SCAJ 2025 will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from 24th to 27 September 2025.
The selection criteria are attached for your reference.
1. Must be a registered coffee exporter from Rwanda.
2. Demonstrated export experience and sufficient export volumes to Japan or other international markets.
3. The representative attending must hold a decision-making role and be able to engage in business negotiations.
4. Exporters will be responsible for covering their own travel-related expenses, including flights and accommodation.
5. Availability of marketing materials such as product catalogs, brochures, and business cards.
6. Ability to provide quality samples approved by NAEB laboratories prior to shipment.
