For Buyers

The history of the Rwandan coffee industry, has not only kept coffee production from the Land of a Thousand Hills alive – it transformed it into one of the most sought-after coffees in the modern world. It has both a colorful history and an exciting taste. Rwanda is known for producing some of the best coffees in the world. The country has a reputation for specialty quality despite being a relatively new coffee-growing country.

Here are some of the highlights of the Rwandan coffee experience:
Rwandan coffee, which almost exclusively features Arabica beans of the Bourbon variety has a wine-like acidity and bright, but deeply complex flavor profiles.

With its rich body, high acidity, intense flavor, and delightful aroma, it is known for its in-your-face acidity and berry undertones. One of those berry notes is black currant which makes Rwanda quite well-known for its coffee.

The high elevation and moderate climate conditions make the country an ideal  place for  the unique coffee growing conditions, and the beans are popping with earthy and fruity flavors. That earthy quality gives the coffee a satisfying mouthfeel, so we end up with a wonderful mixture of delicate flavors and full body.
